Arbeia Roman Fort, South Shields
On Tuesday 15th March, we went to Arbeia Roman Fort in South Shields. We found out all about the fort and what it was used for. We were able to handle Roman artefacts and even had a go at drawing them. We were amazed to find out that the fort was once set on fire....

Chinese New Year
Year 1 have had fun learning about Chinese New Year. We shared the Chinese Zodiac story, made lanterns to represent the year of the tiger and we finished the day off tasting some prawn crackers.
