Welcome to Crookhill Primary School’s website where you will find regular updates about children’s learning and school activities and important information about our happy and friendly school. Our school provides a highly positive environment where everyone feels safe, valued and respected. At Crookhill Primary School, we encourage all of our children to become confident, independent, responsible and caring individuals who love learning and are proud of their achievements.
Our school motto is ‘Working together, we succeed’ as we believe that by working in partnership with parents and the community, we can support children’s learning and wellbeing together to ensure the best outcomes for all of our pupils.

Crookhill have taken part in The Big Breaktime organised by the NSPCC as part of their Childhood Day. We worked together with our class to learn some new games and were reminded of some of our old favourites. It has been lovely to see the children playing these games...
The children in Year 5 visited the Great North Museum today to learn all about the Ancient Greeks. They started with a Fighting Forces workshop where they learnt about the Greek Hoplites and and got to try out their equipment. After that, they explored the galleries...
The children in year 5 have been writing and delivering speeches to explain why they should be picked to be their next house captain. They spoke confidently and came up with some excellent ideas. Good luck to them all as they eagerly await the results!
The count down has been very exciting so when the day finally came, the children were extremely excited and what an absolutely fantastic day we had! We started the day with handling the rabbits and guinea pigs, then moved on to feed the goats and sheep, we then bottle...
