Anti-Bullying Week 2022
Anti-Bullying Week is an important part of the Crookhill calendar. Our week started with a special assembly about Anti-Bullying Week and this year’s theme: ‘Reach out’. On Monday it was Odd Socks Day celebrating differences and how everyone is unique and special. Throughout the week, classes read the story of Mud Boy which tells Sam’s story and how it is important to be kind and what to do if others are being unkind. Children have also been reminded about what bullying is and how to ‘reach out’ to others. On Thursday, Key Stage 2 enjoyed an assembly with Hannah from Big Foot Arts and Y4 and Y5 participated in drama workshops all focused on the theme of ‘What would you do?’ if someone is being bullied. We ended the week with Friendship Friday thinking about how to be a good friend.
