Today we have celebrated World Book Day. It is always a favourite on the Crookhill calendar with children and staff dressing up and sharing their favourite stories. We started our day with a whole school assembly and had the opportunity to look through the World Book Day books that have been written for this year. The children will come home with their own WBD token and can use these to get their own copy of a book from any book shop and some supermarkets. Take a look at al the great reading activities we have been taking part in throughout the day and ask your child if they have come across a new book they would like to read.
