Year 5 have completed a food technology unit on healthy eating. After learning about bolognese and how the meat is sourced, they began looking at different recipes and cooking options. They tasted different sauces and looked at their ingredients and nutritional content. They were then given the challenge to adapt a basic recipe to make it healthier. Final,y, they made and tasted their bolognese sauces and served them with spaghetti. They were all a big hit!
