The children in Years 5 and 6 were joined by the Newcastle Eagles for an afternoon of health, fitness and basketball. They started with a fitness station where the children learnt all about the importance of exercise and why they need to keep fit and played a game of clap and bounce with the Eagles players. They then had a session about nutrition and water intake, a session all about well-being and of course some basketball skills. The children were awarded stickers for taking part and answering questions correctly. Well done to the winning children who were awarded the most stickers and who won the clap and bounce games.
