In our History lessons, we have been learning all about Grace Darling and her heroic rescue of the passengers from the SS Forfarshire. Our Commando Joe’s coach, has helped us to re-live the story every Friday this half term. We had to work as a team each work to plan and prepare for our rescue mission. We used equipment to build a lighthouse, a boat, create obstacles such as rocks and help transport the passengers to safety. Some of us even managed to take a nap on the rocks!
