Centre for Life Visit - Summer 2015

The sun shone for our second outing of the week (typical as we would be indoors all day!) as we set off for a day of Science fun at the Centre for Life in Newcastle.  We met up with our friends from Blaydon West on the way, it was nice to see them again!  At the Science centre, we enjoyed playing in the exhibition, visiting the planetarium, learning about the brain in the Science show, taking part in a workshop about classification, food chains and habitats and a new activity, 'cabinet of curiosities'.  No visit to Centre for Life is complete without a turn on the 4D motion ride, this time featuring everyone's favourite sea-dwelling cartoon character 'Sponge Bob Square Pants'.  Even Mrs Kelly had a turn (for the first time ever)!
