A Rich Tapestry

In November, creativity week was called ‘A Rich Tapestry’. The children found out different cultures and communities in Britain today. Welooked at diversity in our local area and in Britain as a whole and how this makes Britain an interesting and exciting place to live. Throughout the week, there was a wide range of activities for the children to explore their own and different cultures through art, music, cooking, stories, history, sport and geography.   Some parents also visted us to share different food, customs and languages with us. The week finished with Festivals of Light Day when every class looked at a different festival from around the world.
